Mom: Shopping! I told you that I wanted to buy you some new shirts!
Jeremy: You did? When?
Mom: This morning!! (next frame) You were sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal and looking right at me!
Jeremy: And THAT made you think that I was LISTENING?
Dad: I could use some shirts.
Don't know which is worse: attention diversion or convenient amnesia.
