Old Photo Weekend
This weekend's photo is from the 1950s. Here we see TLP's sisters Bonnie and Doris. Then their Uncle Zade, Cousin Reed and their Granny.
Last night was the last regular football game. The team didn't do well enough to normally make it to playoffs, but a change in the way things were figured, they will play next weekend. Ugh. It was SO cold last night - it's one thing to be out in low 30-degree temps, but to be sitting for three hours is just plain dumb.
Yet the band played on.
Tonight is our Chapter championships for band competition, then next weekend will be the final "play off" in Scranton, PA.

It's not surprising that the band is hardier than the football team. I think I can see the resemblence between TLP and Doris. Cousin Reed looks southern enough, I guess.
great find.
Wow. It's been a long time since I've seen that photo, if I ever did!
i believe having relatives named Zade, Doris, and Reed, is sufficient confirmation that our beloved TLP's roots are, in fact, Southern! this is a fantastic picture.
i wish the band all success in tonight's competition -- as well as next week! xox neva
Cold! This is suck, but good ruck in competition.
Cool photo--I've never seen that.
This is suck! Just gotta love that. Yeah, good luck. Or ruck. or suck.
That is a great photo, and I'd never seen it either.
