Stargate SG-1

We had a blast down in Arlington, VA, for a "Gatecon". We watch Stargate SG-1 just about every day ... and now that we've some of the seasons dvd collections, sometimes more (boy, those commercials really take up alot of time!!)

The celebrities that were there were Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Gary Jones (Walter Davis/Harriman) and Alexis Cruz (Skaara). They were all great speakers, each with his own style. Gary Jones was A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y hilarious! I almost peed in my pants.

Gary Jones
as Walter Davis or Walter Harriman,
take your pick... even he doesn't know!

Alexis Cruz
as Skaara

Michael Shanks
as Dr. Daniel Jackson,
archeologist,
turned general,
know-it-all
scientist
turned soldier,
turned hunk

It would appear that none of these people are anything like their characters ... and from the "special features" of the dvds, I think that applies to all of them with the possible exception of Richard Dean Anderson. Boy -- I'd love to see him again!!

Not true! Only the ones worth looking at.

lol -- well, there is only one REALLY regular woman, and the other mostly regular female cast member was killed in the line of duty at the end of last season. There are other strong women (some of the "System Lords") but they play roles that come and go with the story lines.

Any way, the there celebrities that were there were the guys.

And yes, the SO and the Kiddies enjoyed it very much. Kiddie B sez that the attendees were very strange ...

The people there really did creep me out! I mean, some people were ACTUALLY strange! But, either way, I did really enjoy going!
