Happy 4th of July!! guess i misunderstood about the trip... you took the kids to Baltimore, and watched 'em fly off into the sunset? oooh. that's hard (i know, i've done it dozens of times...)

Happy Fourth back at'cha! Looks like we'll be getting some natural firecrackers within a half hour (storm front moving through). Luckily all cats, the dog and the people here don't mind thunder. {{{Soothing thoughts}}} for those who do... and also safe passage for your group in Mexico :-) Yez
Glad to hear everyone's okay there, although the bird feeder capitulated :> We're fine too - the major portion of the storm passed south of us. This year I'm watching the broadcast Boston Pops concert on the Esplanade: bittersweet, because I've been to three of them, BUT I remember trying to get home :-D Yez

Yez, that storm came thru - our scaredy cat moved away from the window, the older cat couldn't care less. Our bird feeder had to be put back upright.
