Old Photo Weekend
Nod and I will spend most of Saturday at our town's annual Festival of art, crafts, food and spending. The Bandies will have a three hour mini-band camp. Hopefully it won't rain all day - the forecast was for clear skies earlier this week, but as the week went on the forecast changed.
This photo is of me when I was about 13 or 14. Oliver LaGrone, a sculptor and poet, gave sculpting classes at church.

That's a beautiful picture, Dddragon and really captures the artist.
Yep. Great photo. You were an artist from day one.
There's depth in that shot. Deep devotion to art. I like it.
The horse isn't bad either.
this may be my favorite "old photo" to date. it captures you... absolutely lovely! xox neva
ps... 3D, last Monday i linked to a site (on Central Snark) i just know you'd enjoy... it's called Word It (this links to one page of designs). each month, artists are given a random word, and then challenged to come up with a design that represents it. i thought of you when i first saw it, because it was so wonderfully creative. if you're interested, you can learn more by clicking on the link that says "to learn more, click here". (duh) xox
Wow, that IS a great picture! And you were doing a MUCH better job at 13 than I could do today at 37! You kinda look like Nivek Army Ranger Pez in that shot.
wow. you were good ... and what a look of absorption, ddd. xoxo
In depth studies of art ...a wonderful picture.
You sure seem devoted to whatever it was you trying to accomplish!
