Cats & Computers

Well, in this case, it's a printer. Salem (formerly the Devil Cat). He used to be so fascinated by the printer, and would sit there watching paper go through it. I kept waiting for him to do something, but he never did.

My cats are EVIL when it comes to computers.

Gigi, my calico cat, once chewed an external keyboard cable in half (when I first made the switch to a laptop I could not type on the smaller keyboard). So I had to buy a wireless keyboard.

Fred and Gigi will BOTH decide to walk on the keyboard while you are using it. They will also attack things like printers.

And then there was the one time I was hanging out with a friend of mine, and she said "my kitty never does anything bad". So I sprayed a little catnip extract on her computer keyboard. It was hoot.

At least you gave me something to smile about today! I am off to look at aral's blog too.

That's a wise cat because it knows that 'curiousity kills the cat' if he gets too close -- he could get sucked into the thing and the next picture you print may be the 'real thing'

Well, it's a change from having a mouse.

Dogs don't waste their time with a single printer. They go to your entry way closet and have a good time with the leather shoes.

That's cute! Serena ignores the printer, but will walk back and forth in front of me, making it virtually impossible to type. Once, she turned one of the emails I was reading green, and I have no idea how. Thankfully, the only cords she chews are those fine ones that come with walkman-type headphones ("walkman" has become a word like "kleenex.")

My cats ignore the computer and printer. Actually, so does the dog. They just get clingy when I'm spending too much time on the computer and try to get me away.

I don't have cats or dogs, but my husband (your father to those who don't already know that) stalks me when I'm on the PC. Gets lonely I guess, same as pets.

Salem looks very much like our Cisco who is fascinated by water. He loves to see the toilet flush.

I like cat. Your cat is very cute. I live by myself now. So I can't have a pet.

That is very funny. Animals are just hilarious. My dog, Carlos, hates the sweeper. If you say the word sweeper around him he will stop whatever he is doing and start barking and howling. Yeah, he really hates Mr. Sweeper.

If it can get ruined by cat hair, my cat will roll around on it, use it as a scratching post, sleep on it... whatever it takes.
