Groundhog Groundhog
Can't believe that another year has gone by and that it's once again Groundhog Day.
My mom and dad are in Punxsutawney, PA, to watch Phil give his prediction. I'm sure that we're all waiting with bated breath for TLP's report when they return later this week.
Today is also known as Candlemas. A group of people at my church are showing Bill Murray's Groundhog Day movie tonight, and having a taffy-pull. Not sure what the connection there is.
I hope that Phil tells us that spring-time weather is on the way!

CNN has one, too, but I couldn't get it to run.

Groundhog, groundhog!
I love the movie Groundhog Day. Groundhog, groundhog!
I love that idea of showing that movie, maybe it will be playing on TV tonight.
OK it is a stretch (couldn't help it)...but maybe a taffy-pull because the day keeps gooiiinnnggg.
Hmm. Candlemas. Taffy. If the salt has lost its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is neither fit for the land nor for the dunghill, but men pull it into candy.
Oh, leave me alone, Soapy!

Great movie. Any movie with Bill Murray is a winner.

Now it's Groundhog, Groundhog? Any other animals or creatures I should know about?
3D I posted a little something I think you'll appreciate. Monika too.
Just another reason why I have such high regard for you d3dragon: you spelled bated right in this context. Along with its and it's ... one of the banes (is that right) of my spelling existence. xoxo
Just once, I would like to see the groundhog bite the dog water out of the guy wearing the top hat.
I mean here is this groundhog, perfectly happy in its warm and cozy little hole in the ground - when along comes some dude who just pulls it out into the snow and cold.
I would bite the guy!
