Photos of Christmas Past III

Bookworm as angel, Goa'uld as sheperd
Bookworm & Goa'uld used to appear in the Navitiy Pagents each year, one at my church (Unitarian) and my husband's (Catholic). Christmas Eve was a rush, with us starting at his church and then rushing over to mine. Nod's church has a stash of costumes they keep, at my church we would make our kids' costumes. Now they've collected a bunch of costumes to keep on hand.

The first photo is from Nod's church, the second one is from mine. In the second photo, Goa'uld is one of the Three Kings (the taller one to the right of the kid with the reddish robe) and Bookworm is Mary (behind the wooden crates).

Hi DD,
I was blogsurfing and noticed that we two are the only ones listing CalArts on Blogger. When did you attend?

I worked there from 1976 to 2001, with a few months off in the early 1980s. From 1981 to 2001 I was director of admissions and it is possible that it was my signature on your acceptance letter.

It looks like you majored in animation. Which kind?

If you get the chance, what with Christmas pagents and wrapping gifts at this time of year, please drop me a line sometime and let me know if I knew you back on the hill.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year,
Best wishes,
Ken Young

On the above: Fun. You must have crossed paths, but he was a "grownup" and you were still so young.

I loved those Christmas plays. Your girls were always the prettiest ones there.

Wow - do they do double duty every Sunday?

Fred: They used to go to both churches each week, but that stopped about a year ago when they finished CCD at Nod's church. They still attend my church for my church's youth group.

I know they hate hearing this: but could they be any more adorable? And d3ragon, is it my imagination, or have you learned how to insert your comments anywhere you want them? As in, not last? I swear you're positioning your comments. ♥ xoxo

You know, I don't want to piss them off and I know, I know I shouldn't say this but goodn grief those kids are cute!

Please forgive me Goa'uld, I'd have stifled it if the pictures were recent.

I didn't know you guys attended two different churches. And yeah, I have to agree your girls are awfully cute.
