Happy Pi Day

Goa'uld informs me that today is Pi Day. This is the day to celebrate that wonderful number 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510582

There are lots of Pi websites, and here are a couple of links: Pi Songs and Pi Pages.

Haha, TLP! It's funny that I get that joke, never having met him. Goa'uld would know something like that.

My dad would be all about this! He used to recite Pi until we'd groan "stop dad, you're embarrassing us". Kind of cool he could that in retrospect.

Math nerd alert! I'll have to alert Namron Wolverine Pez, he's a mathlete too.

I memorized it out to 3.1415927, but that's it.

It seems like a Satanic day to me. Where is God in Pi?

Some people can attribute a celebration to almost any day! It is a gift. Pi-day...now tell that to a toddler and he´ll be delighted :)

Yum - the Pi pie looks good! I saw a part of some show, PBS I think, about a kid who could recite Pi to 32,000 decimal places. I thought it was some kind of trick. But he rattled of math problems like he was a human calculator/computer.
...I'll stick to the eating variety thank you.

Soapy, there's a movie called Pi: Life in Chaos that explores that very question.
